This Plaza-i Payroll module handles salary calculation, bonus calculation, social insurance calculation, year-end adjustment, payment records, and pay slip email delivery (optional function).

Only this module does not share such information as employee master or user ID with other modules so as to be used singly without others implemented.

Features

Handling English pay slip, gross up calculation, bonuses over 4 times a year, and payroll in foreign currency makes this module a unique payroll calculation system.

Except for statutory report or social insurance-related document, most output reports such as pay slip and wage ledger are bilingual. (All the screens are, however, provided only in Japanese.)

This module is best suited for companies who hire expatriate managers or for outsourcing companies who handle expatriate payroll.

It is recommended not only to Plaza-i users but also to foreign affiliated companies or Japanese companies that require customizable payroll calculation system using Oracle database.

Detail functions

Flexible Payroll Calculation

You can freely define and output maximum of 999 pay items / deduction items / attendance items.

Supports multiple pay installments of monthly, daily, or hourly pays.

Multiple pay rates: for the hourly or daily pay, you may assign automatically calculated rates or fixed rates. For the fixed rates, you may assign the same rate for all employees or different rate per employee.
Supported payment calculation comes in 6 types. Automatic calculation for commutation: Based on the means of transportation, beginning month, and valid period, the system calculates taxable and non-tax-related amounts in compliance with the tax law. Commutation by car is also supported.

Gross up calculation, Bonuses over 4 times a year, English Pay slip

Gross up calculation, which the system automatically calculates deduction amount based on the user-specified amount of net payment, is available.
Since standard monthly remuneration calculation can include bonus payment of more than 4 times a year, you can be assured even when it becomes over 3 times a year.
Furthermore, English pay slip is very useful when you have foreigner employees assigned to your office.

Pay Slip /Bonus Slip Email Delivery Function

You can create PDF file of pay slip, bonus slip, and withholding records with password and email it to user-specified employees.
Such administrative tasks as sending password, sending test email, and checking sent email log of pay slip can be managed.
Simulation Process: Raise Simulation at pay revision and Raise Retroactive Process are available.
Retroactive pay is also supported.

Others

Tax Calculation: Calculation by both tax table and machine computation is available. (Only the monthly tax tables of 甲 and 乙 are supported.)
Detail entry for dependent: For dependent registration which is necessary for monthly tax calculation, you can register head-count only or details such as each dependent’s name.
Inhabitant Tax: For inhabitant tax registration, you can register tax amount for every month or for June and subsequent month only.
Year-end Adjustment: Regarding which pay you want to adjust, you can choose from salary, bonus, or individual pay (individual adjustment).
For such a special case that an employee becomes non-resident in the middle of the year, the process of year-end adjustment can be executed only for one specific person.
